Square One Shopping Centre is a dominant retailer player in the shopping centre industry that attracts 24 million visitors a year. The Centre is home to 350 retail stores and services. The Specialty Leasing Department can offer several venues in prime locations for you to showcase your events and products.

 

Centre Court is the main and largest court area in the Centre containing approximately 1,500 square feet. It is located on the lower level next to the Food Court. It has a 180 degree viewing angle from both the lower and upper levels.

 

This Court is located on the upper level between The Bay and WalMart. It can accommodate events that will fit into a footprint of 15 feet by 20 feet.

 

This Court area is located on the lower level inside the main entrance doors. Typical events in this area must be able to fit into a 15 foot by 15 foot area.

 

These units are located throughout the Centre and typically are for the use of selling at retail your products.

 

If you are just starting a business or if you are an independent retailer looking for greater exposure, a RMU at Square One may be the perfect solution for you. This program offers minimum overhead with low start-up costs in highly successful locations. A Vendor’s Permit and an Article of Incorporation are pre-requisites for this program.

 

As you can see from the above we have a number of different and exciting venues to allow you to showcase your events or sell your products.

 

For anyone wishing to take advantage of the any of the above venues we require, in writing the following details:

 

- Description of products/service/event that will be sold or being promoted

- Specific term dates.

- Size of space required.

- Will telephone and electrical power outlets are required.

- A full description and/or drawing of the set-up display (pictures preferred).

- Complete contact information.

- A copy of your vendor’s permit.

- A copy of your Article of Incorporation.

- Your HST number.

- If you are considering a RMU, please fill out the application form.

 

Once your information is received, it will be reviewed and Square One Management will contact you for further information (if required) and discussion.

Depending on the time of year and length of your term License Agreement rates range from $5,500 - $8,500 per month. One year License Agreements are available and we would be pleased to discuss these rates with you. In addition to the monthly rate, there is a 12% percentage fee associated with your sales.

 

Signage for the RMU is $250.00 per sign (two are required).

 

A $1,000 security deposit is required.

 

Full week rental: $10,500*

Four day weekend rate: $9,500*

Monthly rate: Available upon further discussion.
